Promoting Your Business with Ezines:
Ezines or online newsletters are the #1 promotion tool for the
survival of your business! I cannot voice it enough. No matter what type
of business you run, an ezine will help it grow.
I have read about
the concept of lists and ezines a 1000 times if I've read it once. Any
one on the Internet doing business will tell you that the money is in the
list. Not only are you given the opportunity to earn peoples trust by
giving them important updates and free information in your ezine, about
your business, but you will also have the opportunity to offer links to
products or programs that you recommend.
It's simple to set up a
subscription form for your ezine list. Place it on your website,
blog, profile page, where ever you can. You can even ask for permission
to send letters to people by email. Just ask them for their first name
and email where they would like to recieve free information and
news.
Most people have a great fear of starting an ezine. Like
myself. I spent months saying to myself "where do I start". I don't know
what to write! If you already have a website, that part is simple.
If you are working on that website, doing research, trying to find
products or trying to find traffic. Simply tell people about what you
learn every time you do research. Talk to your list just like you talk to
your spouse, business partner, friend, or other family member. I'm
sure there is someone you are always telling about your
experiences.
Talk to the people on your list the same way.
Just sit down at your computer. Open up notepad or clipboard, whatever
you have. And start "telling" your friend what you have found out that
week.
Voilla! You have your ezine.
Rule of thumb: Don't
use your ezine just to advertise. People will be quick to "opt out". Fill
it with great content. Truthful information. Only offer an occassional link
to a product or program that you use yourself or are impressed
with.
This will keep your readers reading and your list
growing!

simplify your venture to creating a professional looking ezine is from

Templates to use. Content that gets read, and even titles that gets the
people that recieve them to actually open the email when they may not have
otherwise.
